Calendly is a scheduling automation platform that helps teams book meetings without the back-and-forth. Cargo’s native integration with Calendly allows you to capture booking events and trigger automated workflows based on scheduling activities.

How to set up Calendly

Calendly uses OAuth to establish the connection with Cargo. During connection, you’ll be redirected to Calendly to authorize Cargo. Once the connector is created, you can:
  • Set up Calendly data models — Create data models from Calendly events to trigger Plays based on booking activities.
  • Track scheduling events — Monitor when meetings are booked, canceled, or marked as no-shows.

Calendly data models

Cargo allows you to create data models on top of your Calendly events that can be used to trigger Plays and power workflows.

Creating Calendly data models

When creating a Calendly data model, configure which events to track:
Event TypeDescription
Invitee createdA new meeting was booked
Invitee canceledA meeting was canceled by the invitee
Invitee no show createdAn invitee was marked as a no-show
Invitee no show deletedA no-show status was removed
You can select multiple event types to track. Each event type will create records in your data model as they occur.

Event data

Each Calendly event includes:
  • Invitee details – Name, email, and any custom questions answered
  • Event details – Event type, duration, and scheduled time
  • Scheduling info – When the booking was made and by whom
  • Status – Current status of the meeting
